Tidewater Hospice provides care and support
for terminally ill patients and their families so that the dying
person can live as fully and comfortably as possible.
Hospice care enables people to live until they die, and their
families to live with them as they are dying - and to go on
living afterward. We regard dying as a natural part of
life.
Our hospice services are provided by a team
of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, home care
aides, chaplains, volunteers and bereavement counselors.
Our teams work closely together to meet the emotional and
spiritual needs of patients and their families.
Tidewater hospice is owned and operated by a
team of health care professionals with extensive training and
greater than 30 years experience in Hospice and Home Care.
Our team physicians are Board Certified in Hospice and
Palliative Medicine, however; we also enjoy working with
community physicians who wish to continue caring for their
patients.
